James Gunn Returns For Third “Guardians”

“Game Of Thrones” Final Episode Lengths Go Longer

Final Avengers: Endgame Trailer Is Here

By Kelvin Owens

Back on Monday, a “Game of Thrones” fansite did a little digging and seemed to discover the runtimes of all six episodes of the eighth and final season of HBO’s fantasy drama series.

Previously rumors were all six episodes would be feature length, but the site’s findings indicated only the final three would fit that description. Now HBO themselves have issued a press release with the final runtimes and there’s been one change – the third one isn’t 60 minutes as previously reported but rather a full 82 minutes long.

This would strongly suggest that the third episode will indeed be the much talked about ‘Battle of Winterfell’ with the forces of the North taking on the army of the Night King. Previously those involved have said the episode would be feature length, but only the fifth one matched the description in terms of runtime and director.

Here are the official dates and run-times of all six final episodes:
Season 8, episode 1
Debut date: SUNDAY, APRIL 14 at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT)
Estimated running time: 54mins

Season 8, episode 2
