Looks Like World War Z 2 Might Not Happen

'Halloween' Sequel Reportedly Finds Writer, Main Cast Expected to Return

A Chance to Go Watch Some Movies On Us

By Kelvin Owens

Halloween is getting yet another Sequel, "Rectify” and “Narcos: Mexico” writer Scott Teems is reportedly in talks to pen the script for a sequel to 2018’s “Halloween” sequel/semi-reboot.

This news comes to us from  Collider, and hasn't been confirmed by Blumhouse or Scott Teems himself. Still, it's an exciting development that horror fans will be over the moon about. Jason Blum himself has repeatedly expressed interest in bringing another Halloween flick to theaters, so it stands to reason that development would get kickstarted sooner rather than later.  Those same sources claim that Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, and Andi Matichak are all expected to return. Original Mike Myers actor Nick Castle has expressed a desire to come back, but that has not been confirmed at this time either. For now, it looks like there are some big developments going on behind-the-scenes.

Last Fall’s “Halloween” received not just critical acclaim but brought in over $250 million at the worldwide box office. So it only makes since to go on with the franchise, the only question would be  what to call this one. 2018’s Halloween is technically a sequel to 1978’s Halloween, ignoring every sequel, which would make 2018’s Halloween the third of the new set. And we all remember the last part 3 of the franchise...
