James Wan weighs in on Aquaman Spinoff The Trench film

Want more of the Trench from Aquaman? I do! If there was any doubt that The Trench is an actual film in development, James Wan seems to have put that to bed on Friday night. Responding to a fan’s general comment on the potential The Trench film, Aquaman director James Wan chimed in saying, “During the early stages of preproduction, I fell in love with the Trench and its designs… and secretly hoped to explore this world further/more.” This isn’t to say, however, that the film is for sure happening as Wan added, “(Now, I’m not confirming or denying this project ;).”
From the look of things, we may have a whole movie revolving around these monsters, which works for me because I loved this part of the Aquaman film.
