Hugh Jackman & Patrick Stewart Set Guinness World Record for X-Men Roles

It looks like the sequel to last year’s “A Quiet Place” is firming up with original writer/director John Krasinski announcing on social media this morning it will be titled “A Quiet Place Part II” and will open May 15th, 2020.

Krasinski is penning the sequel and is back to direct the new film as well now with shooting to begin in July. Brad Fuller and Andrew Form will produce. Additionally,  The Hollywood Reporter has learned that original cast members Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, and Noah Jupe are currently in talks to reprise their respective roles as the Abbott family and should close their deals within the week. Both young actors are under option for a sequel, but Blunt, who won a Screen Actors Guild Award for her role, is expected to take another pay cut to accommodate the sequel's modest budget and to work alongside her husband once again.

Along with making many best of year lists, the first film managed to earn a stunning $340 million worldwide from a $17 million budget.
