Wizard World Teams With Gene Slay's Girls & Boys Club In St. Louis

Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time In Hollywood”

By Kelvin Owens

On April 5th-7th the Wizard World Comic Con heads back to St. Louis. Tickets are on sale now if you dont have yours yet!  On top of all of the fun, cosplay, toys, celebrities (Jason Momoa will be there!) and more, the con is doing a fantastic drive for  Gene Slay's Girls & Boys Club

Wizard World has partnered with Gene Slay's Girls & Boys Club on a book donation program during next month's Wizard World St. Louis. Most of us as kids read comics, if you are like me, those books were gateways to other worlds. Now you can share those worlds with a new generation of kids.

Wizard World is asking fans to bring child-appropriate graphic novels, comics, science fiction books, or any other similar reading materials to Wizard World St. Louis, April 5-7 at America's Center and leave them in a specially marked donation receptacle near the Special Guest Registration desk.

As a thank you to any attendee donating two or more age-appropriate reading material items at the Special Guest Registration desk, Wizard World will provide a free pre-autographed celebrity photo from among a selection of previous Wizard World guests, as available. These photographs are available to fans on a first-come, first-served basis while supply lasts, one per family donation per day, at the full discretion of Wizard World. The program has been a big success at the past few Wizard World events.

So bring those gently used books folks, and share the bodless adventures with the next generation. Who knows, you could be inspiring the next great creator.
